I am Christoph Vieweg, a Berlin-based freelance illustrator and visual artist with a Master’s
in Visual Communication. My work centers on hand-drawn, narrative illustrations that blend figuration,
abstraction, and expressive forms to capture complex themes from literature, society, and current events.
The News Drawing Series »Soweit die Meldungen« exemplifies my approach to long-term studies:
730 analog drawings created daily over two years (2015/2025), investigating societal phenomena in
my unique visual language.
One key pillar is editorial illustration for magazines like Reportagen, Freitag, and DSW Journal, alongside textile
designs (caps, shirts, hoodies), free drawing series, and graphic commissions like covers, posters, and logos.
