Visual Artist, Illustrator & Printmaker

I am Christoph Vieweg, a Berlin-based visual artist, illustrator, and printmaker. My hand-drawn analog works bridge the abstract and figurative—spanning applied design, illustration, and fine art. Expressive, multilayered visual worlds emerge through process-driven work with drawing, collage, woodcut, linocut, and screen printing.

I draw inspiration from everyday life and society: The “Soweit die Meldungen 2015, 2025” series—730 daily drawings responding to radio news. Sketchbook diaries as in the film Schlaf (Michael Venus, Sandra Hüller) or illustrations for Stefan Zweig’s Schachnovelle (Büchergilde Gutenberg) define my practice.

Alongside editorial illustration (Reportagen, Freitag, DSW Journal), I design posters for musicians, textile designs (caps, shirts, hoodies), and graphic commissions like Covers, Posters and Logos.
